DUTIES:

  • Develop AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Run, maintain and troubleshoot Jenkins pipelines.
  • Run, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain AWS stack sets using Terraform.
  • Develop, deploy and maintain reusable Terraform libraries for managing AWS infrastructure.
  • Develop and deploy IAM Identity Center permission sets and policies using Terraform.
  • Develop python scripts for AWS lambdas and general cloud automation.
  • AWS Networking - Develop and maintain transit gateway/direct connect/vpc components using Terraform.
  • Create and maintain AWS Route53 private hosted zones and record sets using Terraform.
  • Train development teams on how to use Terraform to create their application infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain AWS ControlTower and AWS Organizations in a multi account environment.
  • Create and update work items using agile/scrum planning tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.
  • Write Splunk queries to assist in cloud troubleshooting and monitoring.
  • Use DataDog to collect and monitor cloud metrics.
  • Operate as a technical lead on cloud infrastructure projects and foster an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and creativity with cloud team members.
  • Occasionally work a non-standard schedule including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Engineering
  • Five (5) years in any occupation with engineering or related experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience using Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu Server, Red Hat, or CentOS;
  • Four (4) years of experience creating AWS infrastructure components such as VPCs, subnets, EC2 instances, S3 buckets, IAM policies, Lambda functions, and StackSets, and Route53 hosted zones using CloudFormation and Terraform;
  • Four (4) years of experience coding in languages such as Java, Python, Go, and Terraform;
  • Four (4) years of experience using containers (Docker) and virtualization technologies such as VMware, EC2, or Azure VM; and
  • Two (2) years of experience working with cloud security tools such as AWS Guard Duty, Amazon Inspector, AWS Security Hub, AWS Config, or Amazon CloudWatch.
  • Experience must also include Git based source code management tools.

ALTERNATE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Employer will accept a master's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related, and three (3) years in any occupation with engineering or related experience.
  • Experience must include: Three (3) years of experience using Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu Server, Red Hat, or CentOS.
