Job description

Title: Python Engineer- W2 (GC & USC)
Location: Jersey City, NJ; Manhattan, NY; Middle Town, NY; & Houston TX (5 Days Onsite - Look for nearby candidates)
Duration: 12+ Months
(6 positions opened)
Must have: Python, AWS, Trading experience, Containerization, Equity or Derivatives.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Advanced level Python coding. Numpy and Pandas exp.
• Need strong cloud experience, preferably AWS but will consider On Prem / private experience.
• Strong experience with network layer of cloud, and containerization - Kubernetes or Docker
• SQL or NOSQL database experience
• Must have Capital Markets / Trading experience - need to be currently working in, or recent experience working in middle or front office banking environment
• Collateral Management and Counterparty risk - building tools for the business. High scalability.
• Exceptional in Python - Advanced level. 70-80% coding. 20-30% looking into data and communicating with users.
• Very comfortable with cloud computing, AWS or Private / On-Prem. Need to understand networking layer within Cloud.
• Containerization - Kubernetes or Docker must have.
• Understanding finance and capital markets. Banking/trading experience needed. Solving problems with business. This is considered a middle office role, does not interact directly with traders, but works with Risk Management on business side.
