QA Automation With Selenium And Python

Location: Oaks, PA (Hybrid-3 days onsite in a week)

Job Summary:

Must have skills: Must have strong experience in API and web services testing using both manual and using automation tools/scripts. Must have T-SQL experience, must be able to write SQL queries required for data validation. Primary skills (5+ years of experience): Min 5+ years of experience on web application testing using both manual and using automation tools/scripts. Must have strong experience in API and web services testing using both manual and using automation tools/scripts. Strong T-SQL experience must be able to write SQL queries required for data validation. Should be familiar with web and API application automation techniques. Experience with test automation tools Selenium, Python. Should have scripting knowledge for automation (Web & API), preferred language is Python. Should have worked in Agile development.

Good to have skills: Experience with Playwright. Experience with mobility testing. Finance domain experience: basic concept and terminology.

Job Duties:

Participating in daily scrum stand ups, backlog grooming and refinement sessions, sprint planning meetings and sprint review and retrospective meetings. Supporting the product owners in maintaining the product backlog and scheduling next release. Understanding requirements & data mapping. Interact with Dev team, BA team, Data Analyst, and Data architects for understanding project requirements, technical design. Construct test scenarios from business requirements, functional specifications and design documents and ensure that requirements are linked to test artifacts and requirement coverage is adequate. Evaluate test data against expected scenarios, identifying deficiencies. Prepare test data to validate all positive and negative scenarios as needed. Run the load and fix the issue if any come during the load. Perform regression testing, functional testing, automated testing where possible. Create defects for identified issues and participate in the defects triage meeting as needed. Perform root cause analysis, tracing defects to underlying issues with requirements, data, or transformations. Participates in requirement and design review meetings to stay informed of potential impact to testing cases. Perform test task estimation and provides input to test delivery schedule. Escalates issues to Project Manager and Quality Assurance Manager as needed in a clear, concise and timely manner. Consistently identify solutions to issues. Participates in project meetings, design reviews & walkthroughs as needed. Contributing ideas and effort toward continuous improvement and quality enablement.
