Location: Des Moines, IA – Onsite
Employment Type: Contract – W2
Duration: Through December 2026 + Extensions
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in data engineering and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Azure and will be responsible for developing scalable data solutions, building data pipelines, and working with large datasets in a cloud environment.

Mandatory Skills
  • Strong hands-on development experience with Python

  • Experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing and transformation

  • Strong working knowledge of Snowflake, including data modeling, querying, and performance optimization

  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark-based data processing

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure-based data services

  • Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines

  • Strong SQL and data-processing skills

  • Experience working with large-scale and complex datasets

  • Ability to troubleshoot data, performance, and integration issues

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric
