For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Senior Software Engineer. * Core Knowledge & Skills: Works across multiple languages and platforms, designs and implements architectural decisions, applies design patterns, cloud-native services, IAAS/PAAS/SAAS basics, and secure coding practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
* Work & Complexity: Performs complex tasks under limited guidance, integrates and troubleshoots distributed or cloud services, and optimizes performance and scalability.

As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Full Stack Engineer. Project Summary AIS is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for an AI Engineering contract supporting a federal customer in a hybrid role in the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area. Key Responsibilities * Develop and deploy software into production in government environments. Required For This Opportunity * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or closely related degree).
* At least 3 years of experience in Full Stack Software Engineering.
* Must have experience with Python, React, Javascript, and Postgres.
* Must have a strong Python background.
* Must have strong React experience.
* Must have a proven track record of developing and deploying software into production in government environments.
* Must have an Active Secret Clearance. Nice to Have Skills * A related certification is preferred but not required. At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $100,000-$150,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
