Job description

Moneta is an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) wholly focused on going further for our clients. We are one firm with many solutions and we provide a full spectrum of financial advisory services. Still, our true purpose is centered on building relationships and providing exceptional service to our clients around the globe. For that reason, we've built an entrepreneurial business model organized around our clients. Our Partner-led teams are empowered to serve only in the best interest of their clients. Plus, our independence means that we are never beholden to stakeholders or parent companies. We also have the unique ability to trace our history back nearly 150 years, demonstrating our ability to evolve to meet the needs of those we serve.
Job Summary
The Full Stack Developer serves as the primary developer supporting Moneta Central, the firm's proprietary client portal, as well as other internal applications and data-driven tools. This role works across the full software stack-including React and React Native frontends, Node.js backends, RESTful APIs, and PostgreSQL databases-with TypeScript used throughout. The ideal candidate brings breadth of capability and a growth mindset suited to an evolving technology environment. Familiarity with Salesforce is a meaningful advantage given the firm's current platform landscape
Essential Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain full-stack applications across the entire software stack, including React Native mobile (iOS/Android), React frontend, and Node.js backend, using TypeScript throughout.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs using Express.js and TypeScript; develop efficient database models and queries using PostgreSQL and Sequelize ORM.
  • Contribute to microservices architecture development using controller-based design patterns.
  • Support data warehouse migration initiatives, including Microsoft Fabric integration.
  • Deploy and manage applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities and intelligent automation features into software solutions; develop technical prototypes to validate new approaches.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews with a focus on quality, maintainability, and architectural alignment.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to offshore development partners.
  • Maintain thorough technical documentation, including design decisions, code changes, and implementation details, to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Maintain the existing Salesforce platform in support of ongoing transition initiatives, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, Apex classes, and Flow Builder processes; troubleshoot platform issues and identify opportunities to consolidate or retire functionality as processes migrate.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of hands-on full stack development experience, encompassing frontend, backend, and database work.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and RESTful API design.
  • Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Familiarity with containerization and cloud deployment tools, including Docker, AKS, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an evolving technology environment with shifting priorities and platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
