Python Qa Automation Remote Jobs in Chicago, IL (NOW HIRING)

Our client is searching for a Full Stack QA Automation Engineer (SDET) for a remote temp-to-perm role.

***All candidates must work directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis until this position converts to full-time employment and no sponsorship is available now or in the future***

Duties:

• Frontend E2E: Design and maintain end-to-end automated test suites for React applications using Playwright or Cypress to validate UI workflows
• Backend & Data: Build automated REST API test pipelines, contract tests, and database validation scripts to verify data integrity against PostgreSQL backends.
• Identity Flow Testing: Automate the verification of authentication flows, including Keycloak OIDC redirects, Entra ID / Google SSO handshakes, and token expiration.
• CI/CD Quality Gates: Embed containerized test runs directly into GitHub Actions to block regressions and enforce code quality prior to merges.
• Performance Testing: Execute API performance, load, and stress testing (e.g., using k6 or Locust) against containerized Kubernetes workloads.

Pay will be based on experience and a drug background check is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $55.28 - $64.90/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
