Job description

SUMMARY

Intellimed is a Healthcare company providing access to a broad spectrum of healthcare claim and discharge encounter data. This data includes office visits, outpatient surgeries, and hospital inpatient data at a detailed claim level. We process over 800 million claims quarterly. The applications we provide are web-based and include our own developed ad-hoc data mart, dashboard visualizations, Tableau workbooks, and more. Our customers include Hospital Systems, Medical device manufacturers, Physician groups, insurers, etc.

This role will be instrumental in the continuous development and improvement of our internal data processing and customer-facing applications, and will have creative control over methodology, business logic layer, Agentic AI development for automating data processing, and will be involved in the entire end-to-end process of the SAAS hosted applications.

What we are looking for:

  • Expertise with Python and Pycharm. (Required)
  • Expertise with GitHub for source control. (Required)
  • Extensive experience with ANSI SQL stored procedures in MariaDB, MySQL, or Oracle (Required)
  • Must have permanent residency status in the USA.
  • Experience with Java Script (Is a plus)
  • Experience with REACT. (Is a plus)
  • Experience with Healthcare data. (Is a plus)
  • Minimum 2 years experience as Python and Transact SQL programming (Required)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, testing, and maintaining applications using Python.
  • Designing, optimizing, and maintaining complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., data scientists, analysts, front-end developers) to define requirements and deliver solutions.
