Python Developer

Phoenix, AZ

6 Month with possible extension

We are seeking a Python Platform Engineer with Applied AI experience to support enterprise-scale digital platforms powering content management, navigation, and search experiences across global web properties. This role sits within a high-impact engineering team responsible for building and modernizing core platforms including CMS, global navigation systems, and enterprise search. You will help drive the transition from traditional rule-based systems to AI-powered, intent-driven, and automation-first platforms.

The ideal candidate is strong in production Python engineering, comfortable working in distributed systems, and has hands-on experience applying machine learning or NLP techniques in real-world systems (especially search or automation use cases).

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 8 years of experience in Python development in production environments
  • Strong experience building backend systems, APIs, and scalable services
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Google Cloud Platform acceptable)
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
