Responsible to advise and coordinate engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices. Resolves conditions under which tests are to be conducted, and phases of test operations. Coordinates operational, functional and performance phases of tests. Analyzes and interprets test data. Prepares technical reports of for use by engineering personnel. Provides domain expertise on NVMe and PCIe protocols as applied by Enterprise NVMe SSDs. Demonstrates these skills on triage and FA investigations across the entire test bed and product range. Owns assigned test pool from test request through results analysis and reporting. Leverages a customer focused demeanor toward delivering consistent and detailed test data and analysis. Performs first and second-level triage on test failures to aid in root cause analysis. Owns failures in assigned test pool through fix validation and closure. Collaborates across functions to innovate new solutions to execution, triage/analysis, and reporting of test data. Works to provide continued automation of test execution, triage, and reporting tasks throughout validation. Mentors junior engineers on all matters execution, triage, and reporting.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or related field and 8 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Position requires:

1. PCIe and NVMe fundamentals, protocol and analysis

2. Test triage, Failure analysis and root cause of sophisticated issues

3. SSD/System/Computer Architecture

4. Product/System validation and debug

5. C and python programming
