Job description

Role: System Validation Engineer / Test Engineer (SSD)

Location: Longmont, CO (Onsite)

Experience Level: 5+ Years

  • Work experience in any Product customer validation or FW validation.
  • Good experience on SSD (NAND flash or NOR)
  • Basic knowledge on OS and Systems.
  • Working experience on any programing knowledge. (C, C++, Python).

JD:

Directs and coordinates engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices. Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted, and phases of test operations. Coordinates operational, functional and performance phases of tests. Analyzes and interprets test data. Prepares technical reports of for use by engineering personnel. 5-7 years of experience

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute customerspecific system and SSD validation cycles, including regressions and qualification runs.
  • Set up and maintain validation environments and analyze test results to drive rootcause resolution.
  • Perform systemlevel and drivelevel debugging and reproduce customerreported issues.
  • Develop and enhance validation test cases, scripts, and automation frameworks.
  • Own validation execution for assigned programs while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to test strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in customer, product, or system validation roles.
  • Hands-on experience executing systemlevel validation in complex hardware/software environments.
  • Strong debugging skills across system, firmware, and hardware domains.
  • Experience collaborating with crossfunctional engineering teams (firmware, hardware, systems).
  • Proficiency with scripting/programming in Python, C/C++, or similar languages and understanding of validation methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting OEM, hyperscale, or cloud customer qualification programs.
  • Prior ownership of validation execution for customerfacing platforms.
  • Mentoring experience or technical leadership in validation teams.
  • Familiarity with industry certifications, compatibility testing, or joint qualification processes.
  • Strong communication skills for crossfunctional and customerfacing interactions.
