Job Title: Integration and Test EngineerJob Description

The Integration and Test Engineer is responsible for defining, documenting, analyzing, performing, and interpreting tests for products, systems, components, or modifications in collaboration with other engineering functions. This role may involve overseeing activities related to the integration and testing of satellite components and systems, identifying functional problems, and suggesting resolutions.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with design, development, and manufacturing engineers to implement and deploy solutions that support system configuration, including test equipment and hardware components.
  • Build, test, and deploy satellite hardware and software components.
  • Troubleshoot problems to isolate defects at the unit and system level.
  • Develop test plans, cases, and procedures.
  • Document and analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports.
  • Update existing training documentation and online help to reflect changes and updates to the system and integrated logistics support.
  • Ensure testing procedures comply with required industry standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors for technical interface details.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant field. Experience in lieu of education may be considered.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Two years of experience with system integration and testing processes and requirements, systems documentation, systems requirements, systems verification, or other relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Experience with systems engineering lifecycle.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with root cause and corrective action processes.
  • Experience with Altium and SolidWorks (or similar tools).
  • Experience with Python, Linux, Bash, or similar.
  • Hands-on circuit board testing and troubleshooting experience.
Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite in Cape Canaveral. The role involves working with technologies such as electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and circuit boards, with a focus on integration and testing procedures. The work environment emphasizes collaboration with various engineering departments and vendors to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
