Become a Key Player as a Mechanical Engineer

You will support R&D test lab mechanical systems and testing to advance aerospace product development. You’ll work closely with the R&D lab team and senior engineers to design and validate test stands, present results to stakeholders, and contribute onsite in Mentor, OH (onsite). Occasional travel to other facilities, universities, and suppliers may be required.

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Collaborate with the R&D lab team and take direction from senior engineers on active projects.
  • Design pressure, flow, and spray test stands and upgrades with improved automation using control valves and pressure and flow sensors.
  • Develop and improve test stand control hardware and safety circuitry to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist calibration efforts for lab and production test stands to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Present project plans, collected data, and test results and generate detailed reports to inform decisions.
