Job description

As a Lead Software Developer within PNC's Automation and Platform organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX, or Birmingham, AL.
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with 5-7 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications using Microservices Architecture, Java, Python, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in distributed systems, event-driven architecture, CI/CD automation, and modern AI capabilities, including Azure AI Foundry and Generative AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable applications using Microservices Architecture principles.
Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Bounded Context concepts.
Build event-driven systems using Kafka.
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Python frameworks.
Implement Service Discovery, API Gateway, and security best practices.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Integrate Azure AI Foundry and Generative AI capabilities into business solutions.
