North Point Technology is looking to hire a Full Stack Software Engineer to support a mission-critical GEOINT program for an Intelligence Community customer. The qualified candidate must have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and will design, develop, and deliver modern, cloud-native software solutions that enable national security missions. The ideal candidate has an excellent understanding of the full software development lifecycle and exceptional coding skills across front-end interfaces, backend services, and secure cloud integrations in support of the mission.

Responsibilities:
This position spans the full software development lifecycle, building and delivering innovative capabilities that support GEOINT data access, visualization, and dissemination. Duties include designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions; building and maintaining secure, containerized microservices and RESTful APIs with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, React, Node.js, and Spring Boot; participating in Agile sprints, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives; supporting DevSecOps pipelines while meeting security and accreditation standards; collaborating with mission users and product managers to refine requirements; performing code reviews and mentoring fellow developers; and resolving prioritized tasks alongside internal teams at North Point Technology.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Web development with HTML, CSS, JSON, AJAX, and REST APIs
  • Modern front-end and back-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Spring Boot, Django, or Flask)
  • Cloud development on AWS or Azure
  • Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server)
  • Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Version control with Git
  • CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or Jenkins)
  • Agile collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Secure coding practices and government accreditation processes (RMF, STIGs)

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Go programming
  • Front-end UI/UX design
  • NoSQL databases (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch)
  • Specific AWS services (S3, EC2, SQS, SNS, RDS, CloudFormation)
  • Multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM, or Oracle)
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Geospatial tools and standards (GeoServer, PostGIS, OGC APIs, ESRI ArcGIS)
  • Familiarity with modern software design patterns and secure coding standards
  • Experience delivering complex software systems into production
  • Experience supporting a customer contract or the Intelligence Community
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Security+, or SAFe Practitioner

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
