Belay Technologies is seeking an Application Developer/Reverse Engineer to join our intel team. You will act as a Software Engineer and Reverse Engineer in order to develop cutting edge security tools in a fast-paced, agile environment. Your work will be delivering on the client's national security mission, where you will work closely with analysts, data scientists and other software engineers. You will be expected to work largely independently, pursuing opportunities that present themselves from your research, and following up with customer needs. The customer, in CNO's Alternate Tradecraft Product Group, will provide opportunities to quickly adapt and deploy new security products, allowing your tools to be used within weeks, not years.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide dataflow expertise through development and process improvement
  • Expand and develop health monitoring tools and dashboards
  • Use open source and proprietary software to collect metrics from various applications, hardware, and network appliances
  • Emphasize customer communication and gather feedback on project status and results

Candidates should have the following qualifications: 
  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • 12 yrs., B.S. or 10 yrs. w/ M.S.
  • 4 yrs. of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
  • Extensive experience managing dataflow pipelines
  • Experience with data engineering platforms including NiFi
  • Experience with customer cross-domain solutions
  • Experience with containerization platforms
  • Development experience in a Linux environment
  • Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence)

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
  • Experience programming in Python, Go, and Java
  • Experience deploying and running open-source tools at the agency
  • Experience with Svelte, OpenTelemetry, or OpenObserve
  • Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems
  • 4+ years of dataflow experience
