Job Summary:

The Senior Manager for Finance Analytics will lead the development of scalable data products and AI-driven applications, transforming Finance operations and decision-making through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities:
• Define and drive the roadmap for Finance Analytics, aligned to business priorities and long-term data strategy.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into scalable data products, AI solutions, and automation initiatives.
• Build and lead a high-performing team
• Hire, develop, and mentor a team of analysts, analytics engineers, and data product builders.
• Establish best practices across data modeling, experimentation, and product development.
• Foster a culture of ownership, speed, and continuous learning.
• Oversee the design, development, and adoption of data products, dashboards, and internal applications used to run Finance.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and deeply embedded in business workflows.
• Lead the development of intelligent workflows, such as automation, copilots, agents, and decision-support tools, that increase leverage across Finance.
• Identify high-impact opportunities to apply AI and automation to core financial and operational processes.
• Partner with Data Engineering to ensure high-quality, well-modeled, and governed datasets.
• Establish standards for data quality, documentation, and discoverability.
• Deliver actionable insights and shape strategic decisions through data.
• Act as a thought partner to Finance leadership, bringing a data-driven perspective.

Qualifications:
Required:
• 8+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, BI, or related fields, with 2+ years in a people management role.
• Deep expertise in SQL and building scalable, production-grade data models.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms, such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Strong proficiency in Python, or similar programming languages, for data transformation, automation, or application development.
• Experience building data products, not just dashboards, including tools, apps, or workflows used in business operations.
• Demonstrated experience applying AI/LLMs, such as Cortex, OpenAI, Claude, or similar technologies, to real business problems.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience supporting Finance organizations.
Preferred:
• Experience with ERP, financial planning, or business planning systems.
• Background supporting finance, business operations, or analytics teams.
• Familiarity with agile development practices.
