As a Principal Technical Data Analyst in FP&A Data & Analytics team, you will Identify gaps/opportunities and establish technology vision, direction and strategy for Finance Analytics. The role offers the opportunity to deliver data-driven insights to leaders' with your strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Responsibilities

As a Principal Technical Data Analyst in FP&A Data & Analytics team, you will Identify gaps/opportunities and establish dashboard technology vision, direction and strategy for Finance Analytics. The role offers the opportunity to deliver data-driven insights to leaders' with your strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Partner with teams across FP&A to understand their analytics needs and come up with a roadmap to deliver end-to-end data solutions
  • Drive customer backed solutions, partnering with cross-functional teams; Own productionalization and adoption.
  • Be abreast of evolving technologies and external conditions to influence and contribute to analytics vision, strategy and roadmap.
  • Build processes to help make the timely data availability, 
  • Mentor and coach junior data analysts
  • Work to build subject matter expertise and finance acumen 

Qualifications

     10+ years of experience working in a data analytics architect role delivering executive dashboards, AI solutions .

         Experience solving hard problems, by working strategically, addressing complex problems and gaps. 

         Leading and making technology decisions that are steeped in clear principles and have significant long-term impact.

         Responsible for building Analytics capabilities and its integration and interaction with other capabilities on the platform to solve for end-to-end use cases.

         Responsible for creating architecture in the domains that aligns with the technology strategy of Intuit.

     Expertise in SQL, Databricks and visualization with Qlik, Tableau or other BI tools,  is a must

     Proficiency with AWS (Redshift, Athena); knowledge of Python, JavaScript;  ETL and data warehouse technologies is required.

         Strong data storytelling skills, with a proven ability to rapidly construct impactful visualization, communicate insights and influence

         The ability to narrate complex stories with data and be concise in the insights and how they drive outcomes with leadership and stakeholders.

         Ability to lead multiple teams and projects simultaneously to meet objectives and deadlines.

         Proactive and inquisitive learner, to seek out and capitalize on opportunities for change that enhance the business.

         Strong organizational skills, time management, portfolio prioritization experience, and accountability required.


         Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field or equivalent work experience
