Location: Irvine, CA (hybrid- 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Foundation Engineer with very strong Python development expertise and extensive experience in AWS Cloud and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing the foundational cloud infrastructure and automation that supports scalable, secure, and reliable application deployments across environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of AWS resources.
  • Build and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS and on-prem) to support containerized workloads.
  • Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and application teams to deliver cloud-native solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Develop CI/CD automation pipelines and integrate testing, monitoring, and logging frameworks.
  • Optimize infrastructure cost, performance, and reliability through continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, governance policies, and operational best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and cloud environments.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience, including significant hands-on experience with Python.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
