ProSidian Seeks a Automated Web Tester Developer - Information Technology [IT116] Engagement Team | 1099 Contractor - Labor Hour Subcontract located Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina supporting a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRMC]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.

Seeking Automated Web Tester Developer candidates (Labor Category: Web Developer II) at Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina.  This as a Labor Hour Subcontract or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

A Selenium Automated Web Tester Developer is a software professional responsible for creating automated tests for web applications using the Selenium framework. Their role includes writing and executing test scripts to simulate user interactions with web browsers, identifying bugs, and ensuring that applications function as intended across different environments. They collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, maintain the test code, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Automated Web Tester Developer - Information Technology [IT116]

The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Business System IT department. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Gathering, analyzing, and documenting test requirements
  • Implementing and maintaining a Selenium-based web testing framework
  • Developing and maintaining test scripts that produce documented test results
  • Communicating and implementing industry best practices, guidelines, and recommendations for web application testing
  • Writing and maintaining knowledge base documentation

  • Skills and experience requirements shall minimally include:

  • Demonstrated experience creating and running Junit tests in Eclipse for Selenium-based tests

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field with a minimum of 3 years of experience

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of experience

Skills Required

  • At least 3 years' experience in the following technologies is required:
