Job description

JOB DUTIES: Serve within Product Development team to create specifications and designs for new products or improvements and enhancements to existing products. Work closely with customers, developers and other stakeholders to understand and define customer needs in designs. May solicit customers for feedback regarding product usability and desired future enhancements. Build best-in-class, cloud-native and mobile applications that are reliable, scalable, secure and simple to use. Write code that is optimized for high performance, high availability, and scalability. Create and execute software development processes that meet product system requirements. Complete documentation, support deployments and maintenance. Perform testing and debugging of applications. Support applications in production.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study and 8 years of progressive experience in Software (App) Engineering or Software Engineering.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with:
1) Java and Python.
2) Agile software development process, including Scrum.
3) Spring and RESTful web services.
4) test-driven development (TDD).
5) relational databases (including MSSQL) and at least one NoSQL databases.
6) OSGi, Camel, and Karaf.
7) Cucumber tests.
8) GIT, GitHub Actions, Confluence, and JIRA.
