Haley Real Estate Group is looking to hire an undergraduate intern role at the intersection of AI and commercial real estate. This is a hands-on opportunity to build, test, and deploy AI agents that plug directly into real underwriting workflows—your work will be used in live deals.

We’re a CRE investment firm analyzing transactions across the U.S., looking for someone studying finance, real estate, or a related field who’s already experimenting with AI tools and wants to put them into action.

This position is part-time during the school year, and has the potential to be full-time during the summer.

Position Purpose

The AI & Commercial Real Estate Intern will support underwriting and deal analysis while helping integrate AI tools into core investment workflows. You’ll build, test, and refine AI agents, experiment with automation, and improve the efficiency and scalability of underwriting processes. The role also includes conducting market, technology, and asset-level research to generate data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate is already experimenting with AI tools or automation, enjoys solving problems, and wants to apply those skills to real-world investing. A background in finance, real estate, computer science, or a related field is a plus, along with a strong interest in building and improving systems.

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in tech-enabled CRE investing and exposure to AI applications in real estate and finance. You’ll work on real projects that support active deals and receive mentorship from a team at the intersection of fintech and real estate—all within a flexible work environment.
