As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at FARO Creaform, you will contribute directly to the development and validation of high-precision mechanical and optical hardware. Working closely with experienced engineers, you will gain hands-on exposure to real products, real tests, and real engineering challenges in a collaborative and learning-focused environment. Key responsibilities:
  • Support the design and modification of mechanical parts and assemblies using 3D CAD tools
  • Participate in mechanical and optical testing, including setup, execution, and documentation
  • Assist with prototype assembly, lab activities, and basic troubleshooting
  • Collect and analyze test data using tools such as Excel or Python
What will help you succeed at FARO Creaform:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Comfortable with CAD tools and basic mechanical principles.
  • Interest in hands-on work, testing, and physical hardware.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel or programming tools such as Python.
  • Curiosity, autonomy, and a strong desire to learn in a team environment.
