Job Description Cloud Engineer - GenAI Solutions Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months Contract Pay: $82/hr W2 ONLY, NO C2C Overview We are seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer who thrives in complex environments and enjoys solving problems through systems thinking and modern cloud-native development practices. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can independently drive technical solutions while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. The engineer will design, develop, and implement scalable cloud-native applications and contribute to the development of GenAI-enabled solutions that enhance enterprise platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and services. Apply systems thinking to analyze complex systems, identify dependencies, and design resilient solutions. Develop high-quality, maintainable code using Java, Python, and additional programming languages as needed.

Build and integrate GenAI-enabled capabilities into applications, services, or internal tools. Collaborate with engineering teams to design end-to-end technical solutions that align with platform architecture and business needs. Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, development, testing, and deployment.

Contribute to improving development processes, automation, and system reliability. Work in a hands-on engineering capacity, building and supporting production systems. Required Qualifications Strong programming experience in Java and Python.

Proficiency in at least one additional programming language such as C#, JavaScript, or Golang. Experience building cloud-native applications and services. Demonstrated ability to apply systems thinking to complex engineering challenges.

Experience designing or implementing GenAI-enabled solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as a self-starter. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
