Job description

We are searching for a skilled Senior Data Scientist/Engineer to help fuel our team's data-driven impact. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to solve complex business problems, has hands‑on experience across the modern data engineering and data science stack, and contributes as a dependable, collaborative team member.

Responsibilities
  • Partner across business functions to drive actionable insights and impactful data solutions through clear communication and storytelling.
  • Design and develop comprehensive dashboards, analytics pipelines, and machine learning models to support critical business objectives.
  • Implement and optimize data workflows using Snowflake (including features like Cortex, Intelligence, Horizon, and Snowpipe).
  • Build and deploy machine learning models using Python and relevant frameworks, focusing on applications such as predictive analytics, recommendation engines, and automation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to drive experimentation, feature engineering, model evaluation, and deployment processes.
  • Write scalable and efficient SQL to analyze and transform data; construct trusted datasets and data products in Snowflake.
  • Build and deploy workflow automations using Python.
  • Mentor junior team members, review their work, and ensure delivery quality and reliability.
  • Translate evolving business requirements into effective data solutions to enable strategic and tactical decision making.
  • Champion data quality and governance, addressing issues proactively and maintaining high data standards.
  • Empower business users to access data and insights through modern self-service tools.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills; experience collaborating across business and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in BI, data science, and deployment of AI/ML models in business environments.
  • 6+ years of hands‑on experience in data analysis, engineering, and visualization.
  • 2+ years of strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake, including in-depth exposure to Snowflake Cortex, Snowflake Intelligence, Horizon, and Snowpipe.
  • Proficiency with Python and/or R for data analysis, model building, and pipeline automation.
  • Certification in Snowflake or AI/ML technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, cloud platforms, and deploying ML models at scale.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and building scalable data products.
  • Exposure to various tools across the modern data engineering and data science ecosystem.
