This role is expected to translate business objectives into actionable data analysis and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

Job Description

Required

Analytical thinking;

Understanding of statistics fundamentals;

In-depth knowledge on the Hadoop stack (Map reduce, HDFS, Hive, Pig);

In-depth knowledge on machine learning methods;

Experience with scripting languages such as Python;

Understanding of main statistical methods;

Understanding of sampling techniques;

Understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics concepts;

Business domain experience in one of the following areas: retail, enterprise mobility, healthcare;


Qualifications

B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field is required


M.Sc. / Ph.D degree in related field is desirable.
