Job Summary:
Lincare is a company focused on AI-driven initiatives aimed at enhancing revenue growth and patient Lifetime Value. The Data Scientist will lead and support various analytical projects, utilizing machine learning, NLP, and other AI technologies to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for data analytics / data science on massive sets of complex and, sometimes, unstructured data to prepare for statistical analysis.
• Manipulates or converts data according to analysis needs; and develops approaches to deal with imperfections in data (e.g. missing values or inconsistent data formatting)
• Identifies and executes on best approach for assigned project which may include skills including machine learning, NLP, LLMs, deep learning, neural networks or any other data science function.
• Develops reports using complex formulas; analyzes and reviews results for accuracy.
• Understands how to work with multiple data sources, and accurately accesses the correct data within complex databases based on business needs and reporting requirements.
• Will be comfortable interacting at all levels of technology teams both internal and external to Lincare. (project managers, database designer, information architecture, multilayer off-shore support centers, etc.)
• Manages projects to ensure they are delivered successfully and in a timely manner.
• Identifies opportunities to improve revenue, productivity/efficiency as well as enhance patient life time value using data science technologies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
