About the role:

As a GSS Data Analyst you will prepare data to be used by the Business Reporting & Analytics (BR&A) team across multiple areas of reporting. You will gather requirements from stakeholders and complete data transformation according to those requirements. You will report to the Manager, SQL & Data Manager and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location. Hybrid Work Schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build robust data pipelines to support the gathering and transformation of data to be used by the BR&A and APX Project Management Office teams

  • Support the APX Project Management Office by meeting with stakeholders and developing analytical processes to support Business Intelligence reporting

  • Develop advanced queries to provide valuable data insight for the business

  • Create and maintain data models in an efficient manner, maximizing the use of our data and our tools

  • Develop automated programs for extracting, transforming, and loading data

  • Assist in the administration of a central data lake to be used by the BR&A team

  • Perform research and provide suggestions on technologies that could be used to boost the overall productivity of the BR&A team

  • Protect the integrity of BR&A reporting data by continually monitoring for data cleanliness and quickly identifying and resolving issues

Qualifications:
  • B.A., B.S. or equivalent business experience

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role

  • Knowledge of financial processes, controls, and associated improvement programs

  • Familiarity with systems and data quality processes

  • Knolwedge of relational databases

  • Proficient in SQL, Python, R, Java, or any similar programming language

  • Background knowledge of Databricks

  • Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Query)

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $64,800 to $81,000 per year.
