Principal Full Stack Engineer (Python / Snowflake/ Angular)
Location: Coppell, Texas (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to co-lead a team of technologists working on a FICC Liquidity Risk management system. This role involves developing a deep understanding of FICC Liquidity Risk Management business practices and working closely with business and various stakeholders on the further development of the system.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement end-to-end workflows where the Angular UI calls Python APIs, which then query or operate on Snowflake.
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot Python Snowpark procedures.
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot Snowflake SQL, with attention to performance considerations.
  • Develop enterprise UI features in Angular.
  • Partner with data and analytics stakeholders to enable reporting, metrics, and data exploration within the application.
  • Contribute to quality through code reviews, testing practices, and reliable deployments.
  • Mentor and lead a technical team.
Required Qualifications
Experience: At least 8 years of related experience. Experience building enterprise applications using Python, including multithreading, API, and service development. Must have experience in production environments with Angular and integrating UI, API, and Data warehouse workflows.
Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills and the ability to work with large datasets are required. Experience with SQL Analytical functions is necessary. Snowflake experience is ideal, including writing Snowflake SQL and working with Snowflake objects like tables, views, roles, and warehouses. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Snowflake performance tuning, such as warehouse sizing, query optimization, and clustering strategies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, containers, and cloud exposure, particularly with AWS Cloud technologies.
  • Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or data products.
  • Knowledge of FastAPI or modern Python framework patterns.
