Job Summary:
Voyager Technologies is an innovative space, defense, and national security technology company committed to advancing and delivering transformative solutions. They are seeking a skilled cleared Systems Administrator to manage and maintain their enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and efficiency across various systems.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including user lifecycle, licensing, and service health
• Manage endpoint configuration and compliance policies using Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM)
• Administer Okta for identity and access management, SSO, and MFA policy enforcement
• Maintain and optimize Windows Server and Linux Server environments
• Support and administer virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent)
• Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including Fortinet firewalls, switches, and VPNs
• Manage Active Directory including group policies, OU structure, user/computer accounts, and trust relationships
• Write and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
• Document systems, procedures, and configurations; maintain up-to-date runbooks
• Respond to and resolve escalated support tickets; participate in on-call rotation as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required upon hire
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a systems administration or IT infrastructure role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, policy management, and compliance
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Defender)
• Experience administering Okta or a comparable identity provider
• Solid Azure administration skills (Entra ID, resource management, monitoring)
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet products (FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch, FortiClient VPN)
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, VPN
• Active Directory administration: GPO, LDAP, DNS integration, user/group management
• Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022): roles, features, patching, hardening
• Linux server administration (Ubuntu/RHEL/CentOS): package management, services, logging, security
• Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and tooling
Preferred:
• Experience with PKI and certificate lifecycle management (internal CA or third-party providers)
• Domain management including DNS registrar administration, zone management, and domain transfers
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar)
• Relevant certifications: AZ-104, MS-102, Okta Certified Administrator, NSE 4+, MCSA/MCSE
