Job Description
Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable high performance data platforms for Realtime and analytical workloads The role focuses on streaming Lakehouse and federated query architectures using Apache Flink Apache Iceberg and Starburst Trino in a cloud environment
Key Responsibilities
Build and operate real time streaming pipelines using Apache Flink
Design and manage Lakehouse architectures with Apache Iceberg
Enable federated analytics using Starburst Trino
Develop and optimize ETL pipelines using Python Scala Java
Integrate data platforms with AWS Azure GCP services
Tune performance across pipelines tables and queries
Ensure data quality governance monitoring and reliability
Contribute to platform architecture and mentor junior engineers
Required Qualifications
7 years in data engineering and largescale data platforms
Strong hands-on experience with Flink Iceberg and Trino
Proficiency in Python Scala or Java and strong SQL skills
Experience with cloud data services and distributed systems
