Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Primary Skil: Windows/Linux Dedicated Compute, Javascript, Shell Script, BladeLogic NSH, Python, Perl
Secondary:
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Roles & Responsibilities
• Hands-on shell scripting and Linux system administration experience
• Hands-on Java application hosting on Linux experience
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Shell Script, BladeLogic NSH, Python, Perl
• Thorough understanding of server certificate implementation / TLS and how to troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Experience with Glassbox especially, but other monitoring tools such as Tealeaf, Splunk, SiteScope, etc.
• Experience with deployment tools such as BladeLogic, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef and/or AutoSys
• Experience working in a secure, multi-data center environment (including basic understanding of how firewall rules work)
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Strong network troubleshooting skills using various tools (Ping, nslookup, traceroute, curl)
• Good communication skills with ability to coordinate work between system admins, network engineers, end users and others to deliver solutions together
• Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative technology solutions
• Self-starter with the ability to deliver complex solutions with minimal oversight and supervision
• Working knowledge of regular expressions
