Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
  • 8-10 years Google GCP Bigquery Experience with good Python Skills. Experience in Atscale or similar Cubes and have experience on Dimensional Modelling or Designing Snowflake Schemas.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python and AtScale or similar cubes.

Roles & Responsibilities
Core Data Engineering:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (advanced query optimization, complex joins, window functions, large-scale data processing)
  • Hands-on experience with Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.
  • Deep experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in modern cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery)
  • Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Cloud Composer) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
  • Strong understanding of data quality, data validation, and production support practices

Universal Semantic Layer
  • Configure and support USL with existing Mydrill and Finance Metrices.
  • Build and maintain planning models, dimensions, metadata, and security in alignment with finance requirements.
  • Develop and support business rules / calculation scripts, web input forms, and planning dashboards.
  • Assist in performance tuning and optimization of planning calculations. Testing, UAT & Documentation
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test execution, defect tracking, and validation of fixes.
  • Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration details, and user guides.
  • Assist with user training and knowledge transfer activities to ensure operational readiness.
