Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Python Developer in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and support Python-based applications, APIs, and system integrations
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and business-focused technology solutions
* Develop automation, data processing, and integration solutions that improve operational efficiency
* Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes
* Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and software quality standards
* Monitor application performance and support ongoing maintenance and enhancements
* Participate in Agile development activities, including planning, refinement, and sprint execution
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
* 4+ years of experience developing software applications with Python
* Experience building and consuming REST APIs and integrating enterprise systems
* Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases and application architecture principles
* Experience with source control, automated testing, and modern software development practices
* Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines
* Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Experience working in Agile environments with excellent communication and teamwork skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
