Technical Architect

The Technical Architect influences the development and implementation of Information Services (I.S.) strategy, initiatives, and governing policies. Conceives solutions, build consensus, and sells and executes solutions across business areas. This position assists in defining the direction for projects and solution architecture. The Technical Architect supports leadership by planning and championing the execution of broad initiatives aimed at delivering value to internal and external stakeholders. Leverages data, technical, and business knowledge to drive the development of technical frameworks and solutions at portfolio and enterprise levels. This position is involved throughout the project life cycle with emphasis on the initiation, feasibility, and analysis phases Experience in building solutions for medium to complex problems/issues, Leveraging right tools and platforms, cost effective, scalable and reliable solutions. Knowledge in GCP (Preferred a candidate with GCP Cloud Architect Certification) Team player – ability to work with Architects / Stake holders (Business Users, Business Analysts and other IT folks) Excellent communication / negotiation skills, ability to work with new stake holders, process oriented etc., GCP, Python, Big Query GCP Architect 10 + years of Data Engineering experience working with both distributed architectures, ETL, EDW and Big Data technologies 8+ years of development experience in Python Demonstrable knowledge & Experience using Google Cloud Big Query is mandatory Experience with serverless data warehousing concepts on Google Cloud is highly desired Experience with DWBI modelling framework is highly regarded Extensive experience working with SQL across a variety of databases Experience working with both structured and unstructured data sources using cloud analytics Experience with Data Mapping and Modelling Experience with Data Analytics tools Proven ability in one or more of the following programming or scripting languages- Python, JavaScript, Java, R, UNIX Shell, php, ruby. GCP, Python, Big Query GCP Architect Experience with Google Cloud Services such as Streaming + Batch, Cloud Storage, Cloud Dataflow, Data Proc, DFunc, Big Query & Big Table knowledge and proven use of contemporary data mining, cloud computing and data management tools including but not limited to Microsoft Azure, AWS Cloud, Google Cloud, hadoop, HDFS, mapr and spark.
