Job description

Well-known technology platform company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing team. In this role you will work directly with stakeholders to understand their data needs, build and maintain production pipelines, and deliver high-quality data sets that drive business decisions. Your work here will be seen by, and impact, the entire organization. You will be embedded within the business unit attending stakeholder meetings, translating ambiguous requirements into technical specs, and managing your domain end to end.
What you need:
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong Python development skills
- Production experience with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools
- Experience building data pipelines in the public cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong communication (ex: push back, clarify, and manage expectations proactively)
Nice to have:

- Experience in a specific data domain (ex: business analytics, financial ops, sales, marketing, etc.)

- Kubernetes Docker

- Cloud data warehouse and distributed compute experience

- Familiarity with modern development tooling
