Job Description

We have exciting positions available in Transmissions, Energy & Transportation, and Large Mining Trucks. This role involves ensuring high-quality software releases through comprehensive testing in a high fidelity lab environment utilizing a dSPACE test platform. The role involves simulating all sensor inputs and directing all actuator outputs to physical loads using dSPACE hardware. Dynamic simulations of machine systems and operators are utilized to create a complete virtual environment for testing control systems.


Responsibilities

·        Test all software releases in a high fidelity lab environment.

·        Simulate sensor inputs and direct actuator outputs using dSPACE hardware.

·        Conduct dynamic simulations of machine hydraulic, transmission, and engine systems.

·        Ensure the quality of software by connecting system outputs and inputs in a virtual environment.

·        Troubleshoot complex testing systems with numerous I/O channels.

·        Collaborate with customers to address incomplete requirements.

·        Develop sustainable and configurable code.

Core Requirements: 

  • Not just test execution — need someone who can:
  • Set up test benches
  • Perform plant modeling
  • This skill set is harder to find, so flexibility may be needed

Essential Skills

·        Proficiency in HIL, Python, and electrical wiring.

·        Experience with test automation and dSPACE.

·        Proficiency in Vector CANape, CANoe, or similar tools.

·        Experience with plant modeling, Python scripting, embedded C scripting, Matlab, and Simulink.

·        Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

·        Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
