Job Summary for MDM ETL Application Testing
- Define and implement effective test data strategies for MDM ETL applications.
- Lead the testing of ETL pipelines in data marts and data warehouses.
- Identify and ensure comprehensive coverage of data validation scenarios, including migration, transformation, and integration.
- Design, develop, and optimize tests to validate ETL workflows.
- Validate data governance and data quality rules, including golden record creation.
- Write and review advanced SQL queries for data validation based on business rules and transformation logic.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and development teams to understand data requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Automate test data generation and provisioning processes.
- Utilize strong experience in MDM Testing, ETL Testing, and advanced SQL.
- Apply understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts.
- Conduct data quality checks and troubleshoot data issues.
- Use Python for automation and data processing tasks.
- (Secondary) Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- (Secondary) Exposure to cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Data Factory.
- (Mandatory) Experience with Informatica MDM Administration, INFORMATICA-MDM, and core MDM concepts.
