Python Automation Engineer

Job Title: Python Automation Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid) Job Type: C2C

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Python Automation Engineer to join our team in a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scripting, automation, application support, and troubleshooting in a dynamic, enterprise-scale environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support highly available backend applications with a focus on monitoring, performance, and stability.
  • Automate log analysis, incident detection, validation, and testing using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Troubleshoot and debug application issues across multiple layers including infrastructure, application, and database.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as IT Operations, Change Management, Network, and Product Management to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Provide support for APIs and application-related tasks.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response activities.
  • Maintain and improve monitoring and logging using tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and F5 GTM/LTM.
  • Work with NoSQL databases, and messaging bus technologies like Kafka.
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes and automation strategies.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Python scripting (PowerShell/Bash also desirable).
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools: Splunk, AppDynamics.
  • Exposure to F5 GTM/LTM and application routing/networking concepts.
  • Proficiency in Web technologies (.NET or Java-based environments preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across app, database, and network layers.
  • Understanding of NoSQL databases and Kafka.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
