Job Title: Platform Automation Engineer
Location: New York, NY – Onsite

What You''ll Do Build and maintain platform automation solutions using Python and related tooling.
Summary:
Design, improve, and operate internal platform capabilities that enhance developer productivity and operational reliability.
Develop reusable frameworks and tooling for deployments, monitoring, remediation, reporting, and self-service operations. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and repeatable software delivery.
Drive observability initiatives using metrics, dashboards, logging, and alerting platforms . Collaborate with application teams to improve platform adoption, deployment standards, and operational excellence. Support and enhance Kubernetes-based application platforms and deployment frameworks.
Work with authentication and authorization technologies including OAuth2, SSO, and JWT . Analyse application, infrastructure, and database performance to identify optimization opportunities. Contribute to reliability engineering practices including automation, resilience, capacity planning, and operational readiness.
Partner with engineering teams to reduce operational toil through automation and platform improvements. Must-Have Skills? Strong Python development and automation experience
Experience building operational tooling, automation frameworks, or platform services
Strong understanding of Linux systems and scripting
Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, alerting, logging, and monitoring solutions? Good understanding of SQL and database fundamentals? Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker in enterprise environments
Understanding of web applications, APIs, and service architectures? Experience with OAuth, SSO, JWT, or similar authentication technologies
Strong troubleshooting and system-level problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
Ansible, Terraform, or Helm Platform Engineering or Internal Developer Platform experience
Experience building self-healing or auto-remediation solutions Cloud-native architectures and services AI-assisted automation and operational tooling SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets Who You Are An engineer who enjoys building solutions that eliminate manual effort.
