The Opportunity: We are looking for an Automation Engineer to develop and support scalable automation solutions, internal platforms, and operational tooling that improve efficiency across engineering and business functions. This role will work closely with engineering, operations, platform, and business stakeholders to build practical solutions that eliminate repetitive work, streamline workflows, and accelerate delivery.
The ideal candidate is a versatile engineer with strong programming skills, experience building internal applications, database expertise, and the ability to move seamlessly between software development, automation, operational support, and emerging AI technologies. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks, utilities, and workflow solutions that improve operational efficiency across teams
  • Build and enhance internal applications, dashboards, and self-service platforms that simplify access to business and technical processes
  • Develop user-friendly interfaces and workflow solutions using modern low-code and application development platforms
  • Design, implement, and optimize relational database solutions to support internal systems, reporting, and automation initiatives
  • Analyze and support cloud consumption models, billing structures, and operational cost management processes across public cloud environments
  • Implement and maintain secure software dependency management practices, including vulnerability identification, remediation, and lifecycle maintenance
  • Manage user access controls, permissions, environment configurations, and recurring platform administration activities
  • Support software delivery processes through deployment preparation, configuration management, release support, and packaging activities
  • Rapidly prototype technical solutions, proof-of-concepts, and productivity tools to evaluate ideas and accelerate decision-making
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and create solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency
  • Develop intelligent automation solutions utilizing AI technologies, conversational systems, and custom generative AI applications
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and business teams to solve technical challenges and deliver scalable solutions
  • Troubleshoot application, automation, database, and platform-related issues across multiple environments
  • Contribute to technical standards, development best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Serve as a versatile technical resource capable of supporting software development, automation, infrastructure, and operational requirements as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing software solutions, automation frameworks, or internal tooling platforms
