Job Summary:
Alpha Consulting Corp. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with a focus on Python for a contract position. The role involves developing and maintaining scalable applications, collaborating with teams to implement new features, and participating in the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable applications using Python and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Work with DevOps tools and processes to ensure smooth and efficient application deployment and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong professional experience in Python backend development.
• Proficiency with Pytest and Unittest.
• Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis using Pandas or similar data frame technologies.
• Proficiency with Gradle and FitNesse.
• Proven ability to perform R&D using AI, including evaluating AI-assisted approaches, rapid prototyping, prompt engineering, model/tool evaluation, and integrating AI capabilities into workflows or applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred:
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Java proficiency, particularly for AI/ML development and automation.
