Using thermoplastic technology and extrusion manufacturing processes, Palram creates market solutions with our PVC and polycarbonate products, ranging from stadiums and airports to agricultural facilities, commercial buildings, retail stores, and private residences.

Salary Range: starting up to $18.00/hr. (Night Shift Differential + $3.50)

Shift Details
  • Day Shift: 6:45 am - 7:00 pm
  • Night Shift 6:45 pm - 7:00 am

Responsibilities
  • Receives finished plastic sheeting out of extruder, creates neatly stacked pallets, marks sheet counts
  • Completes replacement of rolls of tape, protective covering, barcodes, and other materials
  • Completes Light Transmission and Product Control tests, makes necessary corrections
  • Performs length/width and pallet changes
  • Performs silo setup and operation of raw materials
  • With assistance, performs color changes; basic machine maintenance and cleaning; start up and shut down procedures; and thickness changes
  • Conducts yellow tagging procedure and documentation
  • Other duties and activities as directed

Qualifications or Requirements
  • Ability to accurately read metric tape measure
  • Perform basic math skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly, stand, walk, bend, twist, and/or reach for duration of shift
  • Possess strong time management skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Forklift operation experience a plus!
