Job description

RISETEK Global is seeking skilled Field Technicians to support our advanced parking system project in Volusia County. This is an excellent opportunity for tech-savvy individuals passionate about maintaining cutting-edge parking solutions in a beachfront environment.

Note that this position is to support equipment deployed outdoors in a beach environment. As such you will spend a majority of your time in the field outdoors and this may include during periods of inclement weather including rain, heat, wind, etc.

Job Description:

As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our state-of-the-art parking system components across Volusia County's on and off-beach parking locations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, configure, and maintain solar power setups that energize parking system components

· Ensure optimal functionality of 5G connectivity equipment for seamless system operations

· Service and repair parking gates, payment kiosks, and License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras

· Conduct regular preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime

· Respond promptly to on-site service calls and resolve technical issues efficiently

· Collaborate with the project team to improve system performance and user experience

· Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system updates

· Adhere to safety protocols and local regulations while performing duties

Requirements:

· Associate's degree in Electronics, IT, or related field; equivalent experience considered

· Proven experience in field service technician roles, preferably in parking systems or related industries

· Strong understanding of solar power systems, networking, and IoT devices

· Familiarity with parking equipment such as gates, kiosks, and LPR cameras

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions

· Availability for on-call rotations and occasional weekend work

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with 5G network technologies

· Knowledge of parking management software systems

· Certifications in relevant technical fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+)

· Basic understanding of low voltage wiring and ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and user manuals.

· Ability to obtain fork lift certification and knowledge of connecting and properly loading equipment trailers using ratchet straps and tie downs.

· Must be based in or willing to relocate to Volusia County/Daytona Beach area, Florida
