This position is remote to enhance our competitive edge and expand our cross-functional collaboration efforts. This role will require 50% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.Candidates local to Milwaukee / Green Bay / Madison are preferred.

As a Field Service Engineer III,you'llsupport advanced surgical imaging and guidance systems used in operating rooms to enable precision procedures and improve patient outcomes.

When these systems are down, procedures can be delayed and care can beimpacted.

You are the person who shows up, diagnoses the issue, and gets things back up and running-often under time pressure and in high-stakes environments.

You'llplay a critical role in supporting clinicians and ensuring patients have access to the technology they depend on.

You'llwork hands-on with complex, high-value equipment,requiring strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to keep systems performing at their best in real clinical environments.

This position covers theWisconsin Territory, with select sites in nearby states. The ideal candidate would reside in Milwaukee, Green Bay or the Madison areas. The region is geographically spread out, so you should be comfortable with regular travel and significant driving between sites.

A Day in the Life

No two days look the same. You might:

• Travel to a hospital site to troubleshoot a system issue

• Diagnose faults at thecomponentlevel and implement a fix

• Perform preventative maintenance to avoid future disruptions

• Work directly with clinical staff to understand problems and restore functionality

• Manage your own schedule and prioritize service calls across your territory

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to sites to work as a member of the local team to provide efficient repair / installation support to all accounts within assigned area.

• Installs,operates, maintains, repairs, andmodifiesequipment on designated equipment.

• Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.

• Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions toeliminateproblems in minimal time.

• Support future product integrations by performing upgradesand orconfiguration updates to existing and future imaging/navigation equipment.

• Lead andparticipatein product technical repair and clinical use training with domestic, international and 3rd party staff members.

• Provide testing and validation support to the manufacturer's organization, as applicable.

• Keepingaccuraterecords of discussions or correspondence with customers including all assigned complaints, follow-up actions, root causeanalysisand final resolution within the complaint tracking system.

Must Have:MinimumRequirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 4 years technician, clinical fieldserviceor clinical customer support experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor'sdegree in Bioengineering,engineeringor technology field.

• Previous experience asTechnician/Field Services withinmedicaldevice industry.

• Experience with orthopedic anatomy, surgicalprotocoland medical terminology.

• Ability to troubleshoot with technical skills,creativityand high discipline.

• Familiarity withmost commonly usedtest equipment (i.e.: dosimeter, power supplies, DVM's, signal generators, flow meters, etc.)

• Ability to read and understand schematics and engineering drawings.

• Familiar with the FDA 21 CFR, CGMP for Medical devices.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in aneasy to understandmanner.

• Responsive problem solver and action oriented in resolving customer issues and meeting customer requirements.

• Experience with x-Raysystemsparticularly mobile fluoroscopy or CT systems.

• Experience with robotics or motion control helpful

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$60,000.00 - $90,000.00The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
