The Equipment Inventory Specialist is a pivotal role within our Listing Operations teams, contributing to the seamless management of incoming work and ensuring the success of Purple Wave's auction platform. Operating from our Manhattan, KS office, this role involves proactive decision-making, cross-departmental communication, and a commitment to upholding Purple Wave's core values and goals. As part of a self-forming and cross-functional team environment, the Equipment Inventory Specialist collaborates closely with colleagues to achieve departmental objectives and maintain operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates abilities such as:
    • Quality Control: Ensure all submissions and items meet quality standards, including digital asset presentation, completeness of descriptions, formatting, and transferability of assets.
    • Item Ownership and Marketability: Guarantee the marketability and clear ownership path of each asset listed on purplewave.com.
    • Problem Solving: Independently solve item or opportunity level issues, understanding the importance of prioritization and effective problem-solving techniques.
    • Team Collaboration: Act as an active team member, facilitating knowledge sharing and ensuring daily tasks and departmental goals are achieved within a cross-functional Listing Operations team structure.
    • Compliance: Review and assess contracts and other legal documents to ensure legal and regulatory compliance for the transfer of ownership.
    • Operational Excellence: Manage incoming work, plan short and long-term strategies to meet operational and company goals, and ensure the marketability and clear ownership path of assets listed on purplewave.com.
    • Quality Control: Enforce operating practices, review Data Capture Checklists, and update training materials and protocols as necessary to maintain quality standards.

    • Communication: Monitor communication channels to provide timely responses to questions and issues, collaborating with sales coordinators and other team members as necessary.

Working Settings:

  • Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt, eligible for overtime.
  • Office hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, overtime may be required to achieve due dates. Overtime is compensated in accordance with US Department of Labor requirements.
  • Based in the Purple Wave headquarters in Manhattan, KS.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access various departments of a given location.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate varies based on experience and qualifications, but typically ranges from $18.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour and is paid bi-weekly.
  • Monthly Bonus Program - determined by the Company's monthly revenue result and are paid on a "percent to plan" payout formula (90% = $300, 100% = $600, 110% = $900, 120% = $1,200).
