Job description

HVAC Installers are responsible for the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems primarily in residential properties. This role involves leading a small team and ensuring systems are installed efficiently and according to specifications while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Experienced HVAC Installer – Part-Time Leading to Full-Time

Pure Air Mechanical LLC – Quakertown / Bucks County / Lehigh Valley, PA

Pay: $28.00–$38.00 per hour, based on experience and ability

Pure Air Mechanical LLC is looking for an experienced HVAC installer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on installation experience to join our growing company.

This position will start part-time with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as our workload continues to grow. We are looking for someone dependable who takes pride in their work and can become a long-term part of our company.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Residential and light commercial HVAC installations
  • Air conditioning, heat pump and gas furnace installations
  • Ducted and ductless system installations
  • Equipment change-outs and complete system installations
  • Refrigerant piping and lineset installation
  • Brazing using nitrogen
  • Pressure testing and evacuation using a micron gauge
  • Condensate piping and drain installation
  • Low-voltage control wiring
  • Basic line-voltage electrical work associated with HVAC equipment
  • Sheet metal and ductwork modifications
  • Equipment startup and commissioning
  • Maintaining a clean and professional jobsite
  • Working independently and/or directing a helper when necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years HVAC installation experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong understanding of proper HVAC installation practices
  • Ability to braze, pressure test and properly evacuate refrigeration systems
  • Comfortable installing furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps and AC systems
  • Ability to perform basic ductwork and sheet metal modifications
  • Ability to troubleshoot installation-related problems
  • Must be dependable and show up when scheduled
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude when working in customers' homes

EPA certification is strongly preferred.

Experience with Bosch, Rheem, Mitsubishi and other inverter/heat-pump systems is a plus.

Compensation

$28–$38 per hour depending on experience, skill level and ability to work independently.

Higher end of the pay range is intended for an experienced installer who can take responsibility for an installation from start to finish, properly commission the equipment, solve problems in the field and direct a helper when needed.

This position will initially be part-time/as-needed based on scheduled installations, with the intention of developing into a full-time position for the right person.
