Join Our Team as a Buyer at Epiroc!
We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Buyer who thrives on building strong vendor relationships and ensuring our teams have the materials they need to succeed.
Work Type: This position will be based onsite at our Delhi, IA facility. This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
Procurement & Cost Management
  • Source and purchase supplies, tools, and materials at competitive prices while maintaining quality and reliability.
  • Analyze pricing, negotiate terms, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Vendor & Contract Management
  • Maintain accurate Vendor Master data and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Meet with supplier representatives to review products, contracts, and performance.
  • Oversee supplier returns and resolve vendor-related issues.

Order Management & Logistics
  • Expedite overdue purchase orders and initiate order traces when needed.
  • Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Cross-Department Support
  • Respond promptly to internal department requests and provide purchasing guidance.
  • Manage all purchasing forms, documentation, and workflow processes.

Knowledge/Education:
  • Associate's degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (experience with M3 is a plus) and Microsoft Office applications

Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work cross-functionally
