About Maddox + You:
As a Maddox OEM Purchase Order Coordinator, you will report to the Supplier Relations Manager, under direction of the OEM Purchasing Team Lead, in a fast-paced and highly dynamic procurement environment. Your work will focus on assisting our OEM Purchasing Representative(s) and OEM Supply Planner(s) with the execution and flow of both stock and made-to-order (MTO) purchase orders-ensuring continuous transformer production and timely delivery.
Your day-to-day activities will involve managing OEM PO creation, accuracy, release, and tracking. As a result, you will have direct responsibility for our commercial supply orders from inception until final delivery-ensuring that the "right" transformers are ordered, from the "right" OEMs, in the "right" quantities, at the "right" time, and delivered to the "right" location(s).
You will also manage system data related to these objectives by cataloging: product specs, OEM Sales Order Acknowledgments (SOAs), record drawings, test reports, and logistics documentation. When significant order milestones are reached, or roadblocks are encountered, you will be responsible to notify stakeholders within our OEM Purchasing, Customer Service, and Sales departments and work with them towards positive solutions.
Additionally, as needs arise, you will be a valuable contributor in exciting new stock product launches and supply chain operational efficiency projects.
More About You:
  • You have a heightened sense of attention to detail.
  • You have a kaizen (continuous improvement) mindset-constantly seeking ways to remove waste from systems and processes.
  • You have an "owner's mentality." When assigned a task or project, you gladly accept responsibility and run with it.
  • You are confident, yet unashamed to ask for help when necessary.
  • You are customer-centric and easy to do business with, aiming to provide solutions for internal stakeholders and suppliers alike.
  • You can think quickly and juggle a list of rapidly changing priorities, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
  • You have a basic-to-intermediate level of skill with spreadsheets and dashboards (i.e. Excel, Power BI, Google Sheets).
  • You have exceptional communication skills and etiquette (both written and verbal).

Skills and Experience:
We value experience, so if you have 20+ years of related experience, that's great! We're also very good at training new recruits, and willing to invest in a select number of promising early-career candidates with the right attitude and ambition. For this particular role, education/experience in supply chain planning, accounting, manufacturing, or purchasing is desirable, but not required.
Work Location:
In office, with infrequent domestic travel (up to 5%)
Compensation & Benefits
  • Comprehensive full-time benefits package averaging $20,000+ per year (amount varies based on age, family size, and eligibility), including:
    • Health & wellness benefits (insurance or cash-in-lieu options)
    • Paid maternity and paternity leave
    • 401(k) with 100% match up to 8% of wages
    • Paid holidays, PTO, and family-life gifts
    • Vision, dental, disability, life insurance, and other voluntary benefits

Hourly range:
$21.04-$28.66 USD
