A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Purchasing Specialist / Buyer to join its team. This role will manage material sourcing, purchasing, vendor relationships, pricing negotiations, inventory levels, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, cost-conscious, and enjoys finding the best value while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source materials and evaluate vendors, pricing, quality, and lead times
  • Request and compare quotes and negotiate pricing and terms
  • Create and manage purchase orders
  • Monitor inventory and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and address purchasing issues
  • Analyze costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal departments to meet material needs
  • Identify process improvements and support purchasing-related projects
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supplier management experience preferred
