Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Specialist to join our team. This hands-on position combines warehouse operations, inventory management, order processing, light purchasing, and ERP system administration. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys ensuring parts are accurately received, stored, shipped, and available when needed.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Process customer sales orders, including picking, packing, and preparing shipments and pickups
  • Staging parts for Tech jobs
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and properly stock parts
  • Coordinate and execute transfers of parts and materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels in the warehouse and ERP system
  • Assist with purchasing: create purchase orders, follow up with vendors, and source parts as needed.
  • Update and maintain parts pricing, costs, and master data within the ERP system
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and returns.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
  • Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) as needed
  • Ship parts via FedEx, UPS, LTL carriers
  • Provide exceptional internal customer service to technicians and other departments

Requirements

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or parts department role (automotive, industrial, or similar industry preferred)
  • Experience using an ERP system strongly preferred
  • Basic purchasing and vendor management experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lift 50-70 lbs. regularly and perform physical warehouse tasks
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Positive attitude and team player mentality
  • Forklift certificate needed within 30 days of start date.
