Seacole-CRC, LLC of Plymouth, MN is a diversified chemical manufacturing and distribution company offering essential products and services to a wide variety of markets worldwide. We deliver exceptional value to our customers by offering a unique mix of technical expertise, attentive customer service and trouble-free logistics.

We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable Purchasing Manager to head our Purchasing Department. This position will work with our Purchasing Agent and our Production and Warehouse Departments, with the end goal of offering exceptional products and services to our customers.

  • Experience with purchasing in the Chemical Industry required
  • 7+ years of Purchasing or related experience
  • Employee management preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Capable of working successfully with co-workers and vendors
  • Able to work with multiple departments within the company
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the Purchasing Department.
  • Order raw materials and other supplies
  • Locate and research new vendors
  • Establish and maintain professional business relations with vendors
  • Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels, and participate in bi-yearly inventory counts
  • Assist in tracking and resolving purchasing and inventory problems or discrepancies
  • Establish and maintain good communication and working relations with company personnel and management
